At Thrive Chiropractic, the patient’s problems are treated and additional wellness is maintained through Chiropractic Adjustments, Massage Therapy, Nutrition and Exercise. The doctor focuses on the patient as a whole, not just a single, localized symptom.
"“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease”. Thomas Edison (1903)"
Even though you may not feel sick or aren’t suffering from any specific pain issues, doesn’t mean your body isn’t experiencing the tolls of the “daily grind.” Thrive Chiropractic recognizes that there are many factors that can affect one's wellness including but not limited to: exercise, diet, rest, environment, and hereditary traits. Today’s lifestyle and work requirements continually compromise the integrity of the spine and the body’s nervous and muscular systems. Interference with these systems hinder the body’s ability to self heal. Regular, gentle chiropractic adjustment provides a natural, drug free, nonsurgical health care alternative to correct these interferences. Allowing the body’s innate response to repair, heal, and improve overall health and function.

Children are continuously growing. The daily life of a child consists of learning and playing hard. Think of a baby learning to walk or a child playing a new sport. At all stages, children live extremely active lifestyles filled with running, jumping and falling. All this activity is wonderful for the child, but can be hard on the growing body. When children are regularly adjusted it allows their spine to grow and hold it's proper alignment. With proper alignment any extra pressure from the bones and muscles can be released. Additionally, a properly aligned spine allows the immune system to work more effectively. This is particularly import in newborns and children as their immune systems are not fully mature yet. Chiropractic can also assist in your child getting better sleep. With an aligned spine the body is able to relax without any built-up tension or pain, helping the child get a more restful nights sleep.

Pregnancy Massage or often know as prenatal massage is focused around the mother-to-be. During our pregnancy massages, we make sure that the mother’s body is properly supported with the use of pregnancy pillows and padding. With proper positioning it allows both the mother and baby to be relaxed and comfortable. A trained therapist will use only specific techniques during the massage to ensure complete safety. Prenatal massage has been shown to reduce stress of the mother, reduce any swelling of the arms and legs, as well as reduce any of the accompanied aches and pains that arise during the 2nd and 3rd trimester. Reducing stress and pain helps to keep the mother’s blood pressure regulated, which is an added benefit for baby as well. We do not recommend massage therapy during the first trimester, nor do we provide massage therapy for specific health conditions such as hypertension or gestational diabetes.
Please speak with the doctor prior to scheduling your massage if you fit into any of those criteria.

At Thrive Chiropractic, we take focus on treating each person as a whole. Everyone’s diet is different, and in this day in age, food has become less and less nutritious. Let alone, all the different opinions on what foods are considered “healthy” and which are not. By discussing diet, nutrition and supplementation, we are able to find the correct nutritional support one needs in order to achieve balance and thrive. From recommending specific vitamins and minerals, diet modifications, or discussing cleanses and detoxifications, we put attention to each individual need.
