Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage focuses on treating chronic conditions, muscle aches and pains, and improves overall body stiffness. It restores proper range of motion, loosens up tight muscles, and gives you an overall sense of relief. Deep tissue massage targets adhesions, which can block proper circulation and limit proper range of motion throughout the body. Swedish Massage

One of those most common types of massages is known as Swedish Massage.  It is focused around relaxing the body and relieving any aches and pains that may exist.  This type of massage is for those that overwork themselves and never have time to relax and heal themselves. Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage or often know as prenatal massage is focused around the mother-to-be. During our pregnancy massages, we make sure that the mother’s body is properly supported with the use of pregnancy pillows and padding. With proper positioning it allows both the mother and baby to be relaxed and comfortable. A trained therapist will use only specific techniques during the massage to ensure complete safety. Prenatal massage has been shown to reduce stress of the mother, reduce any swelling of the arms and legs, as well as reduce any of the accompanied aches and pains that arise during the 2nd and 3rd trimester. Reducing stress and pain helps to keep the mother’s blood pressure regulated, which is an added benefit for baby as well. We do not recommend massage therapy during the first trimester, nor do we provide massage therapy for specific health conditions such as hypertension or gestational diabetes.
